Ideal-ist is an international support initiative for IST constituency for carrying out extensive partner search, composing valid and well structured IST proposals and increasing international reach of these proposals.
Partners: The Ideal-ist network is co-financed by the European
Commission and has 49 national representatives in all Member States, Candidate
Countries and Associated States, as well as Western Balkan Countries, Newly
Independent States and Mediterranean Countries.
Ideal-ist collaborates through a broad geographical network with partners in
Third Countries such as China, Brazil, India, Canada, South Africa, South East
Asia, Australia, and New Zealand in-line with the international cooperation
strategy of the European Commission.
By collaborating with other European projects Ideal-ist is continuously
extending the access to its partner search service.

Project description
Ideal-ist project consortia is organised for the benefit of those
enterprises-organisations, being involved in the FP6, more specifically IST
thematic priority. Ideal-ist partners provide extensive support in the form of
consultancy, partner search, project proposal evaluation, international
brokerage events etc. The services of the consortia are essential in bringing in
the true European coverage into any FP6 IST related project by creating
synergies and complementarities through the availability of the experienced NCP
network members.
By the above mentioned activities, Ideal-ist aims to overcome the barriers, which are encountered by the constituency whilst preparing the proposal for the Framework programme.
