COST projektid (COST Actions)

COST toetab uurimis- ja arendustöö rahvusvahelist koordineerimist (nõupidamised ja teaduslikud konverentsid, publikatsioonid jne). Teadus- ja arendustegevuse otsene rahastamine toimub osaliste endi poolt.

COST liikmesriigid võivad vabalt ühineda mistahes projektiga, eelduseks on vaid rahvusliku rahastamise ja vastava tasemega töögrupi olemasolu. Samuti võivad liikmesriigid käivitada uusi projekte.
